Press Release 4

IRB:
As a result of deciding on not needing to test any individuals, we do not need to apply to the IRB.

IAB Mentor:
This week there wasn’t a need to talk to our mentor, Professor Glotzbach. We have set up the database correctly and out final presentation details have been worked out. We are concentrating on finishing our product.

Final Presentation:
Our presentation is now scheduled for Tuesday November 26th at 10 am.

High School Outreach:
Jordan is still planning on reaching out to his old high school when he is given the chance to.

Paper:
Our paper now has 40% completed and has been submitted to Burton via email. We are currently working on more pages as well.

Cost of Living:
We are each configuring our cost of living for the Lafayette area. We are factoring in Rent, bills, food, gas, car payments, insurance, etc. To live in the Lafayette area, we are estimating that the living expenses would total to be about $1000 per month. Which, if calculated on a weekly basis, is about $230 a week that needs to be payed.

Method:
We are still planning on using a functionality testing method to test our site. We are awaiting stat consulting to determine how to analyze this data once we collect it.

Stat:
For our meeting with a statistician, we have the form filled out and are waiting for a response for when we can schedule a meeting.

20th Anniversary Poster:
Our poster is complete; it was at the presentation and can also be viewed here. Our team was there for the entirety of Wednesday’s presentation.
